This website presents the yacht sales and charter-management services of the Angelina Yachting group of companies. Angelina Yachtcharter Holding GmbH is the group's parent company and acts as the data controller for personal data collected through this website; charter operations in Croatia are carried out by the group's Croatian operating companies under their own licences. 2. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data, depending on how you interact with us:

2.1 Data you provide directly

• Contact form submissions: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), budget bracket, purchase timeline, message content, brand and model interest, source page
• Newsletter signups: email address and (where you provide it) marketing-consent flag
• Listing alert signups: email address and selected brand interests
• Investment / charter-management guide requests: first name, last name, email address, marketing-consent flag
• ROI calculator submissions: the scenario you configured (purchase price, charter weeks, projected returns) alongside your contact details

2.2 Data we collect automatically

• Page URL of the form submission — to attribute which page generated the lead
• Technical metadata — IP address, browser user agent, timestamp (held briefly by our hosting and CRM providers for security and analytics)

2.3 Data we do not collect on this website

• We do not require account registration or passwords
• We do not process payment card or banking data on this website
• We do not collect special categories of personal data (health, religion, biometric data, etc.)

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep your data

• Active enquiries: kept in our CRM for as long as we are in contact with you or you are an active customer
• Dormant enquiries (no response or no follow-up activity for 36 months): archived and reviewed for deletion
• Newsletter / marketing list: kept while you remain subscribed; immediately removed when you unsubscribe
• Customer records subject to legal retention (invoices, contracts, tax records): 7 years under Austrian law (§ 132 BAO); records held by our Croatian operating companies are kept for 11 years under Croatian accounting law
• Form-submission notification emails in our inbox: kept as part of normal business email retention (typically 7 years)

6. Your rights under GDPR

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
• Right to restrict processing — temporarily limit how we use your data
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Right to object — particularly to marketing or processing based on legitimate interest
• Right to withdraw consent — at any time, for any processing based on consent (e.g. unsubscribing from marketing)
• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for our Austrian establishment, the Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde (DSB), dsb.gv.at; for our Croatian operations, the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), azop.hr

7. Cookies and tracking

Essential storage only, unless you opt in: the site remembers small functional choices (for example that you closed a popup, and your cookie-consent choice itself). These are required for the site to work and involve no tracking.

Analytics is opt-in. When you first visit, a consent banner asks whether we may use analytics. Nothing loads unless you accept. If you accept, we use Salesflare (visit analytics connected to our CRM, see section 4) and, when enabled, Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation, to understand how visitors use the site. If you decline, no analytics run and the site works exactly the same.

You can change your choice at any time: re-open the cookie banner.

8. International data transfers

All our primary data processors are based in the European Union. Where any data transfer outside the EU occurs (e.g. Boat24 in Switzerland), the destination country is either subject to a European Commission adequacy decision or the transfer is governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including:

• TLS encryption (HTTPS) on all website data submissions
• Access controls and role-based permissions on our CRM and email systems
• Strong authentication for staff accessing personal data
• Regular review of third-party processors and their security postures

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by email to customers whose data is affected. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
