How we calculate charter projections
Last updated: 31 May 2026
Per-yacht, never a fleet average
Every euro figure shown for a specific yacht is built from that yacht's own inputs — its actual or comparable charter rates, the number of weeks it realistically charters in the Croatian season, and our managed-fleet operating costs (marina berth, insurance, maintenance, bookkeeping, and our management fee). We do not publish fleet-wide averages or a single headline percentage return.
What the on-page figures mean
- Gross charter revenue — estimated weekly rate × estimated charter weeks, excluding VAT.
- Owner share — gross less our management fee.
- Operating costs — marina, insurance, maintenance and bookkeeping for the year.
- Year-1 owner net (before financing) — owner share less operating costs. It deliberately excludes financing, depreciation, the VAT refund, and resale value, because those depend on how each buyer structures the purchase.
What stays in the feasibility study
Financing, the 25% Croatian input-VAT refund on purchase, depreciation, multi-year cash flow, payback timing and exit value are modelled in the full per-yacht feasibility study, which we prepare on request and send by email.
Important
These figures are estimates, not a guarantee of income or returns. Actual results vary with season length, booking demand, personal-use weeks, financing and market conditions. They are provided to help you evaluate a yacht, not as financial advice.
